FAQ

Why do ears need cleaning?
The ear canal is covered with fragile and very sensitive skin.
The ear canal allows the transmission of sounds from the auricle to the ear drum.
This skin secretes an oily substance : cerumen.
This cerumen must be regularly eliminated to ensure good hearing.
What is cerumen?
Cerumen is an oily secretion containing cholesterol, fatty acids and cutaneous debris. As it dries and oxidizes cerumen tends to accumulate and obstruct the ear canal.
What can be done for good auditory hygiene necessary to good hearing?
A solution promoting the dissolution of cerumen and facilitating its natural outward elimination must be used. Today that solution exists. It is called Audispray.
What are the properties of Audispray?
Audispray is marine-based product naturally rich in salt and trace elements.
It is a hypertonic solution whose bio-physical properties have proven action on cerumen.
Audispray thus facilitates the dissolution of cerumen.
Why is the use of cotton swabs dangerous?
The use of cotton swabs is criticized by the medical profession as they are deemed to be dangerous and ineffective. The cotton swab is used blind and pushes the cerumen towards the ear drum. The cotton swab can also be responsible for perforating the ear drum.
How is Audispray used?
In general, 1 spray two or three times a week in each ear is enough.
The use of Audispray in case of cerumen impaction will facilitate its extraction by the doctor. Simply apply a few sprays prior to your appointment.
Can Audispray be used by people who wear a hearing aid?
Audispray is particularly recommended for people who wear a hearing aid for its regular use (one spray each day before going to bed) allows the perfect hygiene of the ear canal which is indispensable to the proper operation of the device.
Are there risks associated with the use of Audispray?
Audispray is well tolerated. The Audispray line has a specific product for each age group.
Do not use without medical opinion in case of otitis, pain in the ear, a perforated ear drum and generally, by any person subject to dizziness or with medical antecedents relating to the ear or ear drum.
Without knowing it, you may have a cerumen impaction and it is possible that under the action of Audispray this impaction swells causing discomfort. In this case, consult a physician.
What are the differences between Audispray and other solutions?
The salinity of Audispray is perfectly suited to the ear. Other solutions often contain chemical solvents or soaps that cannot be used regularly.
Can Audispray be used to remove an existing cerumen impaction?
Audispray assures the permanent hygiene of the ear canal. In case of impaction, the use of Audispray will facilitate its removal by the physician.
How long does a bottle last?
With regular use, each bottle of Audispray lasts about six months.
Can Audispray be used in case of skin dryness?
Audispray was tested according to cosmetic dermatological procedures. Tolerance was deemed excellent even on fragile mucus membranes.
